About Your Practitioners
With over six years of experience, Clarissa Lenherr has established herself as one of the UK's leading nutritionists, and is the founder of her own private nutrition clinic on prestigious Harley Street in London. She has helped hundreds of clients achieve optimal health through her passion for gut health, understanding that digestive health is fundamental to overall wellbeing. Clarissa firmly believes that health begins in the gut, and she uses evidence-based strategies to address a wide range of gut health issues such as IBS, SIBO, chronic bloating and gut dysbiosis.
Clarissa’s personal experience with IBS and SIBO has played a significant role in shaping her expertise as a nutritionist. Her journey to find relief from her own gut health issues fuelled her passion for understanding the complexities of the digestive system - mental and physical. Clarissa's personal struggle lasted over 10 years, and after seeing nine different specialists (including doctors, gastroenterologists, psychiatrists, nutritionists, dieticians – across the globe!) with no relief, she took her health into her own hands and managed to find long-term, sustainable relief. This experience, like so many of her clients have gone through, has helped her gain a unique perspective and empathy towards her clients who may be struggling with similar issues.
When not in clinic, Clarissa spends her time delivering keynotes and workshops for leading companies globally, empowering their employees to transform and optimize their health, happiness, and productivity. Clarissa has worked with over 200 companies globally including Ebay, Starbucks, Amazon, Facebook, Google, Lloyds Bank, Coca Cola, Investec, Deloitte and more.
Clarissa is frequently featured in the press, sharing her insights and expertise with leading publications such as The Times, The Telegraph, The Daily Mail, The Metro, Women’s Health and The Evening Standard. Her contributions to the media further demonstrate her standing as a respected authority in the field of nutrition.
Marilia Chamon, founder of Gutfulness Nutrition, came to Nutritional Therapy as a result of her own health journey having struggled with unexplained digestive symptoms for nearly a decade. Like most of her clients, she undertook every medical test under the sun but could not get to the root cause of her chronic digestive symptoms. Her determination to solve her problem sparked an immense interest in gut and digestive health and led her to qualify as a nutritional therapist. Marilia holds a certificate in Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice from the world-renowned Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) and furthered her knowledge in gut health by becoming a SIBO approved practitioner and training on the use of the Low FODMAP Diet for IBS with Monash University. Marilia has engaged in hours of continuing professional development about gut health, the gut microbiome, IBS and SIBO with world-leaders in the field, and continues to update her knowledge.
Marilia provides integrative and bespoke support for anyone suffering with gut health conditions impacting their quality of life. This means providing solutions both from a specialist consulting service to products that help support gut health, making people feel heard, validated, understood, supported and educated throughout their journey.
Her practice is rooted in evidence-based nutrition and her advice is based on the latest scientific research. Marilia is regularly featured in the press and offers expert comments to some of the UK's leading media outlets such as Women's Health, SheerLuxe, Marie Claire and Stylist.
“Being misunderstood is a common feeling amongst IBS sufferers. I’m here to provide support and clarity in a busy space through education, tailored support and empathy.”
