Festive Smashed Dates

Ingredients

  • 1 Medjool date

 

  • 1 tsp Linwoods milled flaxseed, chia, apple & cinnamon mix here: https://linwoodshealthfoods.com/product/milled-flax-chia-seed-apple-cinnamon/

 

  • 30g melted 70% dark chocolate

Method

  • Open a date and flatten with a glass
  • Pop 1 tsp of Linwoods milled flaxseed, chia, apple & cinnamon onto parchment paper
  • Top with a disk shape of melted dark chocolate
  • Place the flattened date on top
  • Sprinkle with more of the Linwoods milled flaxseed, chia, apple & cinnamon mix
  • Pop in the freezer for 30 minutes before eating
